Motorists were on Sunday, March 23 morning left stranded after being stuck in a traffic snarl up along the Moi South Lake road in Naivasha.
The Motorists who were heading to Hell’s Gate for the final stage of the WRC Safari rally action were left stranded for hours in the traffic.
Photos and videos seen by NairobiLeo.co.ke showed long stretches of vehicles along the Moi South Lake road.
The WRC Safari Rally event kicked off on Thursday, March 20 at KICC Nairobi with the first leg of the action being held in Kasarani before moving to Naivasha.
In Naivasha, the event began at Sleeping Warrior followed by the Elementeita stage and later Soysambu Conservancy.

Thousands of motorsport fans have flocked to Naivasha since Thursday to enjoy the thrilling 383.1-kilometer event.
The event is watched by over 120 million people in 170 countries globally, with over 50 international television channels airing it.
On Saturday the National Police Service(NPS) assured motorists that its officers supported by other government agencies had taken roles to enforce strict traffic measures.
“The National Police Service (NPS) remains on-site, implementing comprehensive measures to ensure the security and safety of rally enthusiasts, spectators, and competitors, resulting in the seamless execution of today's Safari Rally events.
“Officers from the NPS, supported by other government agencies, have taken on various roles, including enforcing strict traffic measures, particularly on the Naivasha-Nakuru highway and along the rally routes,” NPS stated.
