Over four family members have lost their lives following an accident along the Naivasha-Longonot Highway.
The accident is reported to have occurred on Sunday, March 30, at night, with various reports indicating that the death toll had reached 7.
Among those who died were children who were travelling alongside their relatives on Sunday night.
While the cause of the accident is yet to be revealed, onlookers who shared the report on the road safety Facebook page - Sikika Road Safety, stated that the vehicle was involved in a head-on collision with a trailer.

"This vehicle has been involved in a head-on collision with a trailer along Naivasha Mai Mahiu Road at High Peak School," read the statement in part.
"Unfortunately, we have lost 4 people on the spot. The children who were inside the vehicle have been taken to Naivasha Level 4 hospital. Kindly, you can help us by sharing so we can reach the family."
Images captured after the accident on Monday, May 31, showed damage to the front side of the vehicle. More impact was visible on the driver's side.
The roof of the vehicles was also damaged owing to the impact of the collission.
At the time of publication, the bodies of the deceased had been transferred to Naivasha Mortuary.
