The Kenya Institute of Primate Research has announced 20 vacant positions in the institute.

In an advert on Tuesday, April 22, the institute called on qualified members of the public to apply for the positions.

The jobs include; Director Corporate Services, Director, Internal Audit & Risk Assurance, Deputy Director, Human Resource Management and Administration, Deputy Director Finance and Accounts, Principal Legal Officer and Principal Laboratory Technician.

Others are; Laboratory Technicians, Animal Health Technicians, Animal Health Assistants and Artisans either in Carpentry and Joinery or Turning and Fitting or Plumbing or Welding and Fabricating and Electrical.


How to Apply

Interested candidates are required to have a detailed resume, certified copy of pay slip, certified copies of academic and professional certificates including testimonials, names and addresses of at least three referees, and their telephone contacts and emails.

“The application should be placed in a plain envelope clearly indicating the Application Vacancy number on top of the envelope and dropped in the box placed outside the Director General’s Office at Administration Block at Ololua forest Karen, on or before the close of business on 21st May, 2025 at 4.30 P.M,” the advert stated.

The institution noted that successful candidates will be required to provide clearances from Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission, Kenya Revenue Authority, Directorate of Criminal Investigation (Certificate of good Conduct), Credit Reference Bureau and Higher Education Loans Board.

Shortlisted candidates will also be required to produce originals of their birth certificate, national identity cards, academic and professional certificates, and transcripts during the interview.
