Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has held talks with former Agriculture CS Mithika Linturi and former Public Service CS Justin Muturi.
Following the meeting held on Wednesday, April 30, Gachagua shared a quote by Chinua Achebe on a meeting of 'kinsmen'
"When we gather together in the moonlit village ground, it is not because of the moon. Every man can see it in his own compound. We come together because it is good for kinsmen to do so," Gachagua quoted Chinua Achebe.
While details of the meeting remain unknown, the leaders have been having political talks about 2027.
Gachagua added that the meeting was part of their broad consultations in the opposition.

The meeting between the trio came a day after they held a similar meeting with other opposition leaders.
The other leaders present at the Tuesday meeting were Former Interior CS Fred Matiang'i, Wiper leader Kalonzo Muyoka, PLP leader Martha Karua and DAP-K leader Eugene Wamalwa.
Notably, the leaders have been in talks over the possibility of forming a coalition to challenge President William Ruto.
"We need all hands on deck in pursuit of liberating Kenyans from rudderless, corrupt, bloodied and irredeemable William Ruto government," Wamalwa stated after the meeting.
"The team to liberate Kenya gets bigger every day. Welcome, Dr. Fred Matiangi, Hon. JB Muturi and Hon. Mithika Linturi. You are on the right side of history," Gachagua added.
