Police have arrested four filmmakers who were linked to the making of BBC's Blood Parliament documentary.
According to Boniface Mwangi, the four were arrested on Friday evening at their Karen village office.
The four include Nicholas Wambugu, Brian Adagala, MarkDenver Karubiu, and Chris Wamae.
Boniface added that the arrested filmmakers managed to make a call to them during the incident.
"One of them managed to make a call and said they have been split into two groups, one headed to Pangani Police Station and the other to Muthaiga. The arrested filmmakers didn't film or contribute to Blood Parliament, and they weren't told the reason for their arrest," read the statement in part.

BBC's Blood Parliament documentary was released early in the week.
The documentary documented the events in Parliament on June 25, 2024, where some protesters were killed during the invasion of Parliament.
BBC was able to identify some officers who shot the protesters using 3D modelling of video clips.
The documentary also resulted in an echoed call for accountability of officers who used excessive force.
IPOA, in response to the documentary, stated that investigations into some of the shootings were still ongoing.
Some cases were also in court.
