Kenya Power has announced a scheduled power interruption set to take place on Monday, June 2.
In an update on Sunday, May 1, the company said the outages are part of routine maintenance aimed at enhancing service reliability.
According to the notice, several parts of Uasin Gishu and Nandi counties will be affected.
In Uasin Gishu County, areas including Soy, Likuyani, Imbinga, Ivugwi, Lumino, Navilus, Kabobo Farm, Kipsomba, Tarakwa, Chemoset, Lugulu, Chemororoch, Furfural, Mawe Tatu, Nangili, and Kongoni will experience power outages from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Residents in Kipkaren River, Kapkenyeloi, and St. Mary’s Osorongai will also be without electricity during the same hours.
In Nandi County, the Kilibwoni area will face an outage from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The specific locations to be affected include Kilibwoni, Tigityo, Himaki, Tiryo, Siwo, Arwos, and surrounding communities.
