Conflicting reports emerged on Wednesday, June 5, over retired President Uhuru Kenyatta appearing on 'Kogi's Corner' for an interview.
This is after MC Kogi shared a poster on his social media announcing that Uhuru would feature on the show.
However, MC Kogi did not specify the date or time at which the former Head of State would make an appearance on the show.
Former Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu also posted the poster on the planned interview, opining that Uhuru would ‘inject’ during the show.
“We will be tuned, Kabisa. I will even pause doses during this show because I suspect #Boss1 will be doing his own injecting,” Wambugu stated.

On the other hand, digital strategist Pauline Njoroge, who is reportedly a close associate of Uhuru, dismissed the poster, terming it propaganda.
Njoroge said there was no such discussion with Uhuru’s team to appear for an interview at Kogi’s Corner.
“This is a big lie. Uhuru is not going to this show, and no such discussion has even happened. So, what’s really the motive of circulating this propaganda? Why drag Uhuru into such lies?” she posed.

Njoroge went on to say that the former President will not be appearing on the show.
“I saw some people yesterday circulating a poster, claiming that Uhuru Kenyatta is going to Kogi’s corner. They even went further to insinuate the things Uhuru will be talking about in the show.
“This is total propaganda, ridiculous lies being driven by people with questionable motives. Uhuru is not going to that show and there hasn’t been any such discussion,” Njoroge added.

In a rejoinder, Wambugu slammed Njoroge, saying she works for Deputy President Kithure Kindiki and she may not be aware of Uhuru’s plans.
“Ask Kogi. He’s the one who posted. And by the way, Pauline, the last time I checked, you were working for Kindiki, so I'm not even sure how you would know what Uhuru is up to these days,” the former Nyeri MP told Njoroge.
However, speaking to a close ally of former President Kenyatta, the source confirmed that Uhuru would not be appearing on the show.
