Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has announced a major rebranding of the party, changing its name to Wiper Patriotic Front in what he described as a tribute to Kenya's youth.
Speaking on Saturday, June 7, Kalonzo said the move is meant to honour the memory of Gen-Z protesters who lost their lives in anti-government demonstrations.
“In a move to show respect to our young people, Wiper Party has changed its name to Wiper Patriotic Front to pay homage to Gen-Z who were killed under President William Ruto's regime,” he stated.
This comes months after Martha Karua rebranded NARC-Kenya to People’s Liberation Party (PLP).
In an announcement on Tuesday, February 25, Karua said the party aims to champion good governance, economic reforms, and the rule of law in Kenya.
