The event focuses on the progress made in Kenya Kwanza's Bottom-up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA) since Ruto came to power in September 2022.

Speaking at the retreat on Thursday, President Ruto called on members of the executive to up their game and assist him in transforming the country.

Ruto expressed that the Cabinet Secretaries were doing a commendable job in their respective ministries; however, he asserted that they needed to do even more to ensure that the country is transformed.

"If we do not succeed and allow this country to slip back, we will have let this country down in a very profound way," he stated.

"That is why we must up our game. I know we are making strides in many areas. Miano here will tell us how we are pushing the tourism numbers, and we can feel it... Everyone is pulling their weight, and I just want to let you know that we are one team."
