Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has warned President William Ruto about the growing anger among the youth towards his administration.
Speaking on Saturday, June 21, Khalwale told President Ruto his work will be difficult if he continues working with individuals he claimed are misleading him.
“The youth are singing, saying the government is bad. I want to tell President William Ruto, if you don't distance yourself from those people who are telling you things that do not reflect the voice of the citizens, your job will be difficult,” said Khalwale.
The UDA Senator went on to say that Western Kenya residents will be happy with President Ruto if he builds roads for them.
"Mr. President, if you were listening to me, I would have already told you what would make the citizens happy. Our people won’t have complaints if you come and fix our roads the way you’ve started doing in Luo Nyanza,” he stated.

Senator Khalwale also pointed out that Kenyans are angry with the Ruto government over the state of the health system.
The Kakamega Senator also urged President Ruto to consolidate bursaries and make education free.
“We have bursaries from the MCA’s office all the way to the President’s office, yet the people aren't receiving them. We want all the bursary funds you collect to be consolidated, and education should be free from nursery all the way to Form Four,” Khalwale told Ruto.
Further, Khalwale pointed out that Kenyans are angry with the rising cases of police brutality and killings.
He urged members of parliament to stop defending the police and instead join him in pushing for action to be taken against rogue officers.
“These people cannot be pleased with the government while it is the police who are killing their children. I want to appeal to Members of Parliament to stop defending the police officers who are killing our children.
“Let’s unite with and push for the arrest and prosecution of those responsible, starting with Eliud Lagat.”
