Nyali Member of Parliament Mohammed Ali has opened a radio station making his comeback in the media industry.
Before joining politics, Ali was a celebrated media personality known for in-depth investigative journalism pieces under the ''Jicho Pevu brand.
According to Gazette Notice No. 6397, the independent MP already has an operating license.
The new radio station has been dubbed MO FM RADIO, opened under the Jicho Pevu Limited company.
Reports indicate that the lawmaker is currently hiring staff for the station ahead of its official launch.
The station will be available under the 88.0 FM frequency with offices in Mombasa.
He took to his socials inviting qualified personnel to work with him.
"Are you a talented radio presenter or DJ? If yes, then you're the one we are looking for," he announced.
He joins the growing list of politicians who are venturing into the media.
Top political media owners include the Kenyatta Family, Kirinyaga Woman Rep Purity Ngirici and her Meru counterpart Kawira Mwangaza.
