The National Employment Authority (NEA) has warned against fraudulent online job postings that falsely claim to be from the Authority.
In a notice released on Friday, August 8, NEA cautioned the public against fake job openings being advertised under the Authority's name.
The Authority stated that all legitimate job vacancies are posted exclusively on their official website and advised the public to use the NEA Integrated Management System (NEAIMS) for accurate information regarding job opportunities.
One fraudulent posting advertised positions for Sales Representatives at NEA, appearing on an online job search platform.
The fake advertisement, posted on August 7 with a deadline of August 15, 2025, is for a full-time sales representative position at NEA in Nairobi.

The fraudulent posting also outlined responsibilities, including achieving sales targets, growing market share, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring product availability and visibility.
Applicants were directed to send CVs and cover letters to [email protected] with the subject line ‘Application - Sales Representative’.
NEA emphasized that job seekers should verify all employment opportunities through official channels and warned against responding to unauthorized job advertisements.
The public has been advised to visit NEA's official website, use the NEAIMS platform for authentic job opportunities, and report any suspicious job advertisements claiming to be from the Authority.
