Kenya Power has announced planned power interruptions across six counties on Wednesday, August 13.
In a statement on Tuesday, August 12, the company said the interruptions are meant to facilitate routine maintenance.
In the Nairobi Region, parts of Makueni County will be affected, specifically Kola area, including Kilala, Ukiah, Mukuyuni, Nziu, Kyambalasi, Utangwa Kivani, Kali and adjacent customers.
The outage will run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
In the North Rift Region, parts of Trans Nzoia County in Milimani and Shimo La Tewa areas will be affected from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Affected areas include Milimani, Kitale Hospital, Crystal Cottage Hospital, Gallie, Natembeya Foundation, Milimani Booster, Shimo Latewa and adjacent customers.
In Nandi County, Ollesos Technical, Timbilil, Cheptuing'eny and surrounding areas will experience a blackout from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
In the Mt. Kenya Region, parts of Nyeri County in Gatondo area will have no power from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Affected places include Gatondo Market, Itundu, Gachuguina, Kiawaiguru, Muthuthiini and adjacent customers.
In Embu County, Koimugo, Sunmoon, Jerusalem, Njukiri Primary, Kenya Forest Njukiri, Kiangatunyi and nearby customers will be without power from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
In Kitui County, Kathungi, Silanga, Kyeni, Masimba, Kanyangii, Kanyongonyo, Kangukangu and adjacent customers will experience outages from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
