The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced 257 vacancies in the authority.

In a notice on Tuesday, August 19, KRA said it is seeking to recruit results-oriented, self-driven, dynamic, and experienced individuals to fill the positions.

“The Authority is seeking to recruit results-oriented, self-driven, dynamic, and experienced individuals with high integrity to fill the following positions,” read part of the notice.

The vacant positions include: Officer – Data Integration (1), Officer – Revenue Assurance & Fraud Analytics (1), Officer – Security Tools Operations (1), Officer – Business Application Support (1), Officer – Data Centre Operations (1), Officer – Knowledge Management (Strategy & Programmes) (1), Officer – Knowledge Management (Knowledge Infrastructure) (1), Graduate Trainees (200), and Drivers (50).

The authority noted that successful applicants will be required to present a valid certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), a valid clearance certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), and a valid tax compliance certificate from KRA.

The applicants will also be required to present a current report from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).

How to Apply;

Interested candidates are required to visit https://erecruitment.kra.go.ke/login and then click on the ‘Register’ button to start the application process.

The applicants can use their personal email address to register on the KRA recruitment portal.

After registration, applicants will receive an email enabling them to confirm their email address and complete their registration.

The applicants will then go to https://erecruitment.kra.go.ke/login, key in their username and password, then click on ‘log in’.

After a successful login, the system opens the ‘applicant cockpit’ page, where applicants can create or update their details under the ‘candidate profile’ tab.

By clicking on ‘my profile,’ candidates can enter their information and attach documents in PDF format.

The profile is completed by following the on-screen instructions and finalizing the process under the ‘overview and release’ tab, ensuring the check box on the page is selected to confirm completion

To view open job postings, applicants should click on the ‘employment opportunities’ tab on the ‘applicant cockpit’ page.

Under the ‘job search’ section, clicking the ‘Start’ button displays all available vacancies. 

To apply, applicants must click the ‘apply’ button at the top of the page and follow the provided instructions to complete and submit their application.

KRA noted that all the mandatory fields must be filled in, and the process is finalized by reviewing and accepting the ‘data privacy’ statement and clicking the ‘send application now’ button.

The deadline for submitting the applications is September 8, 2025.
