President William Ruto is back in the country after close to a week of working visit in Tokyo, Japan.
The head of state departed Nairobi on August 18 to attend the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9) alongside other African leaders.
On the sidelines of the summit, the president met with high-level representatives of renowned brands headquarted in Japan and finance corporations with whom he made agreements on investment benefits for Kenya.
On Friday, August 22, Ruto gave a keynote address at TICAD 9 plenary, where he called for more concerted efforts to grow the economies in Africa to reduce the poverty rates, create more jobs and enhance health and educational services.
It however emerged that Ruto flew back to Kenya from Japan quietly and went to hos farm in Uasin Gishu.

On Sunday, August 24, photos emerged of the president in his dairy farm in Koilel.
The president seemed to break away from his routine whenever he is in the country.
Always, the head of state attends church services in various of the country.
But this Sunday seemed to have been his time to chill out on the farm after a busy week in Japan.
Ruto was captured attending to his livestock visibly in their hundreds.
Unlike his former deputy Rigathi Gachagua's hyped return to Nairobi from the US, Ruto kept his under the wraps.
Not even his page did update on his return.
The photos from the farm were shared by his social media crusaders.
Ruto returns to a potentially charged political environment after Kenya was knocked out of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) football challenge.
For a while, the country had been fixated on the tournament as the home team fared well until their quarter final stage.
All the while, toxic politics had taken a break, with the president swimming in the glory of the team.
Gachagua also returned from the US, signifying the return of high-octane opposition politics.
Meanwhile, as Ruto jetted back, his chief partner in the broad-based government jetted out.
On Saturday, August 23, ODM leader Raila Odinga announced flying out of Kenya to a destination he did not mention.
He said the trip was for him and his family to unwind before returning.
"On a short break away from Kenya with family and friends; taking time to recharge. See you soon," he posted on his social media platforms.
