Judging from the attendance of football fans at the stadia to state-of-the-art facilities, Motsepe observed that the tournament succeeded, seeming okay the region for the 2027 Afcon tournament which will also be co-hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.

"In Kenya, the attendance has been abnormal, same with Uganda and Tanzania. This is an excellent sign for the 2027 competition," he said.
