Kenya Power has announced scheduled power Interruptions across four counties on Friday, September 5.
In a statement on Thursday, September 4, the company said the outages are meant to facilitate maintenance works.
In Nairobi County, the outage will affect Runda from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Areas include Glee Hotel, Eliud Mathu, Runda Glove, Runda Drive, Runda Mumwe, Runda Riviera, Runda Kigwaru, Mimosa Annex and Mimosa Close.
Mimosa Vale, Mimosa Gardens, Mimosa Ridge, Mimosa Road, Northern Bypass, Githogoro, Panafrican Insurance, Mae Ridge and adjacent customers will also be affected.

In Kakamega County, Malava MKK and its environs will be affected between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Areas expected to be hit include Malava Market, Kimangeti, West Kenya Sugar, Bulovi, Kambi Mwanza and adjacent customers.
In Nyeri County, the outage will affect Ruring’u, Skuta, and Thunguma areas from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Customers in Swahili Village, Meeting Point, Ibauini, St. Jude, Skuta, Thunguma, Kagayu Market, PG Mureithi, Beatrice Court, Mary Immaculate, Jacaranda, Sport Gate and Galands Hospital will be affected.
Those in Waka Maternity, Soko Huru, Beavers, Oil Com, Central Mart Supermarket, Thuta, Chorong’i, Kiamunyi, parts of Micha Village, parts of Ithenguri, Enea Academy, Ruring’u and adjacent customers will also be affected.
In Kirinyaga County, Mwea Town and its environs will experience outages between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Affected areas include Ngurubani Secondary and Primary, CCS Wanguru Dispensary and Githogondo Village, Thiba Primary and Secondary, Thiba Village, Nice Digital City, Co-op, Sidian, Equity and Family banks.
Others are Thiba Health Center, Thiba Chief’s Camp, Karima, Mbui Njeru, Rurumi Block Villages, and rice mills such as Golden, Tai, Victory, Top Grade, Best, Global, Shiloh and Budget, as well as adjacent customers.
