Kenya Power has announced scheduled power interruptions across four counties on Wednesday, September 24.
In a statement on Tuesday, September 23, the company said the planned outages are part of ongoing maintenance works.
According to the statement, the blackouts will affect parts of Nairobi, Kisii, Nyeri, and Kiambu counties, with the interruptions set to run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in all areas.
In Nairobi, the affected areas include Kinyanjui Street, Starehe Boys, Ziwani Health Clinic, Ziwani, Kariokor Cemetery, and adjacent customers in Ziwani.
Also scheduled for power interruption are Blowplast, Dam Est, Kuchi Road, Greatwall Apartments, and adjacent customers in Katani and Syokimau.

In Kisii County, Kenya Power said customers in Botori SDA, Daraja Mbili Market, Nyanchwa Police Station, Ekerore, Christamarian, State Lodge, Nyanchwa Boys and Girls, and adjacent areas within Kisii Town will be affected.
Additionally, parts of Etago, Ekona, Kenyenya, Mogenga, Moticho, Gesabakwa, Nyabera, Nyangweta, and adjacent customers will also be without electricity.
In Nyeri County, the planned outage will affect Gathambo TBC, Gaturumo-Ini TBC, Kiamigwi Primary School, Kiamigwi Village, Gitima-Ini Village, Safaricom Boosters, Airtel Boosters, and adjacent customers.
In Kiambu County, the areas to be affected include part of Limuru Town shopping centre, Karanja, Kwambira, Kamirithu, Tharuini, Step Joy Boys, Rwacumaria, Kamonoru and Ndiuni.
Nyataragi, Thigio, Thigio Boroti, Gichungo, Kiriri, Mango, Ngarariga Girls, Rufus, Murengeti, and adjacent customers will also be affected.
