In the Highlands East of the Rift Valley, which includes Nairobi County, mornings are likely to be cloudy with occasional rains over a few places, giving way to sunny intervals.
Afternoon showers are likely to occur in a few places, while nights are expected to be partly cloudy, with occasional showers in some areas.
On the other hand, the coastal region is expected to experience sunny intervals during the day, with partly cloudy conditions at night.
However, morning, afternoon, and night showers are likely to occur over a few to several places.
At the same time, the Met Department predicted that maximum daytime average temperatures of more than 30°C will be experienced in the Coast, Northeastern and North-western Kenya, as well as over some parts of the South-eastern lowlands, the Rift Valley and the Highlands West of the Rift Valley.
Meanwhile, the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, the Rift Valley, and areas in the vicinity of Mt. Kilimanjaro will experience minimum night-time average temperatures of less than 10°C.
The weather forecast comes days after the weatherman predicted rainfall in eight regions in the country last weekend.
In its latest advisory, the agency warned of heavy rains in Western Kenya, the Rift Valley, Lake Victoria Basin, North-Eastern, North-Western, South-Eastern Lowlands, Central Kenya, and Nairobi.
According to the weatherman, the weather had been looked forward to by many in the aforementioned areas, especially in Western Kenya, the Rift Valley, and the Lake Victoria Basin, where farmers were concerned over the fate of their crops.
The department noted that the rainfall "would bring some relief to many areas".
Meanwhile, the department cautioned the inhabitants of Marsabit and Turkana Counties, where strong winds are expected.
