Gatundu South lawmaker Moses Kuria has teamed up with Members of the County Assembly in Kiambu to impeach Governor James Nyoro.
On Wednesday Kuria admitted to the press that he is in talks with MCAs who want to ous Nyoro after the hotly contested by-elections in the county which turned chaotic.
"We have held several discussions with Kiambu MCAs regarding the criminal conduct of Governor James Nyoro. As the DPP takes up the matter following the directions of the IEBC, the MCAs will concurrently move to impeach Dr Nyoro," Kuria said.
On Tuesday night the IEBC suspended votes tallying in Juja constituency after chaos erupted.
IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati released a statement where pointed fingers at Kiambu Governor James Nyoro for disrupting the process.

"At around 10:20 pm tonight there was disruption of the tallying process at Mang’u HighSchool Tallying center in Juja Constituency by a group of individuals led by the KiambuCounty Governor Mr James Nyoro," Mr Chebukati said.
Earlier in the day, chaos had erupted at Mang'u voting centre and police stepped in to disperse the rowdy crowd and sent away all politicians present.
Governor Nyoro, Murang’a Senator Irungu Kang’ata, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria and Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro were among the politicians who were asked by the police to leave the centre.
