Bumula Member of Parliament (MP) Jack Wamboka condoles with the Khalwale family. He termed the death a devastating loss and reaffirmed Linda Mwananchi's support for the family.

"Her unexpected death is a devastating loss, and at such a painful moment, we mourn with Senator Khalwale, his family, relatives and friends, and pray that God grants them strength and comfort.

"As LINDA Mwananchi, we stand firmly with our senior brother and mentor Senator Boni Khalwale during this darkest hour. May the Almighty comfort the Khalwale family, give them strength to endure this painful moment, and grant Mama Gloria eternal rest," Wamboka wrote.

Several Kenyans have offered their heartfelt condolences to Khalwale and his family as they mourn their mother and wife.

"Pole sana, Senator. May the soul of Mama Gloria rest in eternal peace. Strength and comfort to you and the entire family during this incredibly difficult time," a Kenyan named Kaka wrote on X.

Gloria becomes the second wife the Senator has lost in the last seven years. In October 2019, his first wife, Mama Adelaide Shikanga Khalwale, died.

Mama Adelaide died after she developed pulmonary hypertension. The Senator had intimated that before her death, she had suffered from cancer of the blood, which she had recovered from.
