In a notice on Tuesday, September 8, the authority said the programme is scheduled to run from October to December 2026.
The programme offers opportunities across various functional areas, including human resources and administration, corporate communications, finance and accounts, supply chain management, telecommunications, information technology, cybersecurity, legal services, consumer protection and research, among others.
"The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) invites applications from ongoing students for October to December 2026, a three-month (3) attachment opportunity," the notice read.
The authority is seeking students whose areas of study align with the departments where they wish to undertake their attachment.

Eligible disciplines include Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Management Studies, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Media Studies, Communication Studies, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Radio Frequency Engineering and Information and Communication Technology.
Other eligible areas include Telecommunications and Communications Engineering, Business Law, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Law, Consumer Protection, Public Policy, Sociology, Marketing, Education, Community Development, Development Studies, Project Management, Statistics, Research Methodology, Quality Management, Business Studies, Regulatory Affairs and Legal Studies.
To qualify, applicants must be ongoing students at a recognised university and their area of study must correspond with the department they are applying to.
They are also expected to demonstrate a keen interest in gaining practical experience in a dynamic regulatory environment in their applications.
Interested students are required to apply online and submit a one-page CV, a copy of their National ID, a cover letter specifying the department of interest and a letter from their institution confirming their current enrolment and support for the attachment.
Applications must be submitted by September 18, 2026, at 5.00 p.m. The authority said only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.
The CA has also urged qualified applicants from different backgrounds, including persons living with disabilities and those from marginalised communities, to take advantage of the opportunity.
"The Authority is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified Kenyans including persons living with disabilities and those from marginalized communities are encouraged to apply.
"Canvassing in any form or failure to attach any of the stipulated documents shall lead to automatic disqualification," the notice added.
Meanwhile, the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has announced 89 job vacancies across various departments and campuses.
According to a notice issued on Tuesday, the vacancies cover positions ranging from Senior Lecturer and Lecturer II to roles in information technology, finance, human resources, library services, supply chain management, administration, security, driving and office support.
The KMTC Board of Directors said it is seeking to recruit competent, result-oriented, knowledgeable, dynamic, visionary and experienced persons to fill the positions.
"The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Board of Directors seeks to recruit competent, result-oriented, knowledgeable, dynamic, visionary and experienced persons to fill the following vacant positions tenable at the Kenya Medical Training College, Headquarters and its Campuses," the statement read.
The available positions include five Senior Lecturer, Pharmacy positions; eight Lecturer II, Mortuary Science positions; and one Assistant Director, Information Communication Technology position.
KMTC is also recruiting five Accountant II/Finance Officer II positions, five Human Resource Management Officer II positions, five Library Assistant III positions, five Supply Chain Management Assistant III positions, five Assistant Office Administrator III positions and five Information Communication Technology Assistant III positions.
The institution has further advertised 10 Clerical Officer II positions, 10 Security Warden III positions, five Artisan III positions, 10 Driver III positions and 10 Office Assistant III positions.
The deadline for submitting applications is Wednesday, September 30.
