Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka is set to embark on a three-day Ukombozi Tour of Garissa and Tana River counties as he steps up his political engagements in the region.
In a statement on Wednesday, September 9, the party said the the former Vice President will undertake the tour from Friday, September 11, to Sunday, September 13, 2026.
The tour will take place shortly after a series of high-level political meetings involving Kalonzo and leaders working to advance an alternative governance agenda ahead of the 2027 General Election.
According to the statement, on Wednesday, September 9, Musyoka co-chaired a United Alternative Government meeting in Nairobi alongside People's Liberation Party (PLP) Party Leader Martha Karua.
The meeting brought together several political principals, with discussions focusing on the coalition's roadmap and strategy for advancing the alternative governance agenda.

Other leaders present included Speaker Emeritus Justin Muturi, who is the Democratic Party leader; Jubilee Deputy Party Leader Fred Matiang'i; DAP-K Party Leader Eugene Wamalwa; PNU Party Leader Peter Munya; PDP Party Leader Omingo Magara; and Bus Party leader Lenny Kivuti.
Before heading to Garissa and Tana River, Kalonzo is scheduled to host the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Joint Council and National Executive Council (NEC) meeting in Nairobi on Thursday, September 10.
The Wiper Party said the Ukombozi Tour will then begin on Friday and run through Sunday, taking Kalonzo to Garissa and Tana River counties.

This comes days after Wiper announced application fees for aspirants interested in contesting elective positions on the party’s ticket in the 2027 General Election.
In a notice on Wednesday, September 2, WPF Chairperson Jamleck Kamau invited interested candidates to register as aspirants.
Kamau noted that the deadline for aspirants to register is October 3, 2026.
"The Wiper Patriotic Front invites persons interested to vie for various positions in the 10th August 2027 General Election on a WPF ticket to register as WPF Aspirants on or before 3rd October, 2026," read the notice in part.
The WPF Chairperson also invited individuals interested in being nominated by WPF in various positions to register.
"Those interested in being nominated by WPF in the various categories (Party Lists) are also invited to register," the notice stated.
Candidates interested in gubernatorial positions will pay an application fee of Ksh50,000, while women, youth and persons with disabilities (PWDs) will pay Ksh25,000.
Senatorial and National Assembly aspirants will each pay Ksh20,000, with women, youth and PWD candidates paying Ksh10,000.
Woman Rep Aspirants will also pay an application fee of Ksh20,000, whereas MCA aspirants will pay Ksh10,000.
However, Women, youth, and PWD aspirants seeking MCA positions will pay Ksh5,000.
WPF directed the applicants to make the payments through the party’s Co-operative Bank account 01120199325701 or via Paybill number 400200 using account number 1930930.
