In a notice on Thursday, September 24, the party said the revised programme followed deliberations by its National Elections Board, which reviewed the electoral schedule.
"Following due consideration and deliberations on the electoral programme, the National Elections Board has reviewed and revised the schedule for the Ward-Level Grassroots Elections," the notice read.
The UDA said the revised dates would replace the dates that had previously been communicated to party members and other stakeholders.
"The Board hereby gives notice that the elections in the affected counties shall be conducted on the revised dates set out below, which supersede the dates previously communicated," the notice added.

According to the notice, Kisii and Nandi counties will conduct their Ward-Level Grassroots Elections on Friday, October 2, 2026.
The counties scheduled to hold elections on Saturday, October 3, 2026, are Kericho, Baringo, Bungoma, Isiolo, Marsabit, Wajir and Mombasa.
The party also announced the registration deadline for members in the counties conducting elections on October 2 and 3.
"Registration deadline for counties conducting elections on Friday, 2nd October and Saturday, 3rd October 2026, shall be Monday, 28th September 2026, at 5.00 p.m," the notice further read.
UDA further scheduled elections in Samburu County for Friday, October 16, 2026.
On Saturday, October 17, 2026, elections will be held in Tana River, Vihiga, Mandera, Nakuru, Bomet and Tharaka Nithi counties.
The registration deadline for members in counties holding elections on October 16 and 17 was set for October 10.
"The registration deadline for counties conducting elections on Friday, 16th October and Saturday, 17th October 2026, shall be Saturday, 10th October 2026, at 5:00 p.m," the notice added.
UDA said the grassroots elections would be conducted during designated polling hours across the affected counties from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the respective dates.
The party called on members, polling officials and other stakeholders to take note of the revised programme and prepare for the elections according to the new schedule.
"All concerned Party Members, Polling Centre Officials, and Stakeholders are hereby required to take note of the revised election schedule and make the necessary arrangements accordingly," the notice concluded.
Meanwhile, UDA has announced the commencement of a series of grassroots engagements in Nairobi.
In a session led by Secretary General Hassan Omar and attended by Lands Principal Secretary Nixon Korir, UDA met elected grassroots leaders from all 17 constituencies in Nairobi.
Omar lauded the officials for their steadfast support for the party and urged them to intensify the recruitment of new members into the party.
He told the constituency grassroots leaders to keep amplifying the achievements of the UDA government, led by President William Ruto, who also doubles as the party leader.
On his part, Korir encouraged the leaders to rally support behind Ruto's re-election.
UDA Executive Director Nicodemus Bore and his Deputy, Higgins Mbugua, called on the officials to help fill the additional slots available at polling centres occasioned by the high number of registered voters in some areas.
"In the coming days, this engagement will extend to Ward and Polling Centre officials across all eighty-five (85) electoral units, as we activate our grassroots machinery ahead of the 2027 General Elections," the party stated.
