"Even a child knows that William Ruto is not in Kenya because the country is peaceful and things are calm."

On Friday, September 25, Kiharu Member of Parliament (MP) Ndindi Nyoro claimed Kenya is peaceful because President William Ruto is abroad.

Speaking in Kathiani, Nyoro added that the political space has witnessed relative calm because Ruto, who constantly attacks his predecessor, Uhuru Kenyatta, is out of the country.

He said that the relative calm was evidence enough that it's the President who directly or indirectly insults Uhuru, and demanded respect for the retired Head of State.

"Even a child knows that William Ruto is not in Kenya because the country is peaceful and things are calm. Since he has left, have you heard anyone insulting Uhuru Kenyatta?

"Kenyans have understood that Ruto is the one who insults Kenyatta. If you want Kenyans to respect you when you leave office next year, you must respect Uhuru," Nyoro claimed.

The People's Party of Kenya (PPK) Leader clapped back at the President for accusing Uhuru of allegedly trying to sabotage his government.

He reckoned that Ruto should shoulder the blame for his administration failing to deliver to Kenyans in critical sectors like health, education, and security.

Nyoro sensationally claimed that the bad blood between Uhuru and Ruto was more personal and political. He asked the Commander in Chief to come clean so that they could 'pay' him.

"What is it that Uhuru has taken from you so that we can do a harambee and pay you back? Leave Uhuru Kenyatta alone," he stated.

Earlier, State House confirmed that Ruto will be back in the country by Saturday, September 25, after attending the United Nations General Assembly in the United States of America.

State House confirmed that the President would go on a tour of the Coastal Region, where he is expected to issue 200,000 title deeds and commission new and existing projects.

On September 30, Ruto will break ground for the $16 billion (KSh2 trillion) East Africa Refinery in Lamu, a project to be jointly undertaken by the Kenyan Government and Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote.
