In an advertisement on Tuesday, October 6, KMTC invited competent and qualified candidates to apply for the positions.  

“Therefore, the KMTC Board of Directors seeks to recruit competent, result-oriented, knowledgeable, dynamic, visionary and experienced persons to fill the following vacant positions tenable at the Kenya Medical Training College, Headquarters and its Campuses,” read the advert in part. 

The vacancies include; Senior Lecturer -Dentist (5), Lecturer II -Nursing (200), Lecturer II -Clinical Medicine (105), Lecturer II- Orthopaedic and Trauma Medicine (20), Lecturer II -Emergency Medical Technology (5), Lecturer II -Community Health (20), Lecturer II- Health Records & Information Technology (20), Lecturer II -Medical Laboratory Sciences (5), Lecturer II -Public Health Sciences (5) and Lecturer II-Medical Engineering (12). 

Others are; Lecturer II-Occupational Therapy (15), Lecturer II-Nutrition (15), Lecturer II-Radiography & Imaging (20), Lecturer II -Physiotherapy (15), Lecturer II - Community Oral Health (10), Lecturer II - Optometry (5), Librarian II (10), Orthopaedic Trauma Assistant III (5), Orthopaedic Technologist III (2) and Pharmaceutical Technologist III (5), Physiotherapy Assistant III (4).

KMTC also announced vacancies for Registered Clinical Officer III (5), Registered Nurse III (10), Medical Engineering Technologist III (5), Medical Laboratory Technologist III (5), Occupational Therapy Assistant III (1), Assistant Radiographer III/II (5), Assistant Director, Human Resource Management (2), Senior Assistant Director, ICT (1), Principal Legal Officer (1), Administrative Officer II (15), Housekeeper II (5), Assistant Housekeeper III (10) and Office Administrator II (10). 

Also advertised are Assistant Office Administrator III (20), Corporate Communication Assistant III (20), Corporate Communication Officer II (4), Human Resource Management Assistant III (8), Information Communication Technology Officer II (3), Maintenance Assistant III (3), Maintenance Officer II (2), Records Management Assistant III (20), Records Management Officer II (5), Security Assistant III (3), Planning Officer II (2) and Supply Chain Management Officer II (10).

How to Apply

Interested candidates are required to make applications online through the KMTC website; http://recruit.kmtc.ac.ke/jobs. 

Successful candidates will be required to provide clearances from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and Higher Education Loans Board (HELB). 

They should also submit clearances from the Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) and valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI). 

The deadline for submitting applications is on Friday October 30, 2026. 

“Applicants should provide all the details requested for in the advertisement. It is an offence to include incorrect information in the application,” KMTC stated.
