Political strategist Pauline Njoroge has been appointed Interim Head of Communication at the Linda Mwananchi Movement.
The appointment was announced following a meeting of the movement's leadership on Monday, October 12, during which members reviewed progress on the party's rebranding process and ongoing efforts to establish its structures.
"The Linda Mwananchi leadership met yesterday to review progress on the party's rebranding process, as well as the ongoing structuring of the party and the Presidential Campaign Secretariat," the movement said.
Explaining the decision to appoint her, the movement highlighted Njoroge's professional background and previous involvement in political campaigns and institutional communication.
"Pauline brings a wealth of experience in political and strategic communication, having previously worked on presidential campaigns, and with various governmental institutions and intergovernmental organizations," the movement added.

In addition to Njoroge's appointment, the leadership resolved to establish a Digital, Media and Publicity Team within the Communication Department.
The team will comprise Fredah Onduso, Abigael Gikonyo and Charity Waweru, who were appointed to serve in the department as part of the broader restructuring exercise.
This comes weeks after Njoroge dismissed claims that former President Uhuru Kenyatta has tasked her with handling funds for the Linda Mwananchi movement.
In a statement on Thursday, September 17, she questioned why the state has not moved to seize the alleged funds from her if they believe Uhuru is funding the Linda Mwananchi movement.
"In Ruto’s rally yesterday, I heard the broad-based fellows who ate agents money in 2022 claim that I am the one carrying Uhuru’s money.
"Now that they have the state machinery, and all the instruments of power, why haven’t they waylaid me and taken the money, so that they cripple Linda Mwananchi financially if they actually believe that it’s Uhuru’s money that’s propelling the movement?" She posed.
On Wednesday, September 16, Suna East MP Junet Mohamed had claimed that Uhuru had sent Njoroge to handle his funds within the Linda Mwananchi movement.
"The sponsor, Uhuru Kenyatta, has sent a cashier, a woman named Pauline Njoroge, who is counting the money for Linda Mwananchi," he alleged.
