The movement said it was committed to conducting free, fair and transparent party nominations, assuring all aspirants of equal opportunities.
Linda Mwananchi Movement will soon begin registering aspirants as it prepares for its party nomination processes.
In a statement on Saturday, October 17, Pauline Njoroge said the movement was committed to conducting free, fair and transparent party nominations, assuring all aspirants of equal opportunities during the exercise.
"Under the leadership of Edwin Sifuna, who is known for his unwavering commitment to the rule of law and integrity, we are committed to free, fair and transparent party nominations. Every aspirant can be assured of an equal opportunity," she wrote.
As part of the measures to protect the integrity of the nominations, the movement's party leader, Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, announced that aspirants would not be allowed to occupy grassroots party positions.
Njoroge said the decision was communicated by Sifuna while speaking in Bungoma earlier in the day, presenting it as a safeguard against potential interference in the nomination process.

"As part of safeguard this commitment, our Party Leader speaking in Bungoma earlier today stated that aspirants will not be allowed to hold party positions at the grassroots. This will help prevent conflicts of interest and ensure a level playing field for all," she added.

Elsewhere, this comes days after ODM Deputy Party Leader Simba Arati said the party will conduct free and fair nominations for the Nairobi senatorial seat.
Arati explained that while EALA MP Winnie Odinga, who had earlier declared interest in the seat, is the late Raila Odinga's daughter, she would have to square it with other aspirants eyeing the seat.
"As ODM, I want to promise to all our followers that we will have a free and fair nomination, including for the Nairobi Senatorial position and any other position," he stated.
Arati made a clarion call to some of the leaders who had left the ODM Party to return to the political outfit to rebuild it, adding that the late Odinga would not want it divided.
However, he stated that those who left because of alleged enticements by a so-called sponsor should dissociate themselves from the party completely.
"Let us not be confused because Baba left us in ODM. As Deputy Party Leader, I ask those people who want to leave not to; come back and let us build the party. However, if you have decided to leave because the 'sponsor' has bought you, get lost with him," he added.
