Amisi asked Gen Zs to come out and defend their liberation quest before it is hijacked by selfish leaders.

Saboti Member of Parliament (MP) Caleb Amisi has called for Gen Zs to rise up before their June 25, 2024 quest for liberation is taken over by selfish leaders.

In a statement issued on Thursday, October 22, Amisi warned that the push for liberation had led to the re-emergence of tribal groupings.

He called on Gen Zs, who were synonymous with being tribeless and leaderless in 2024, to come out and take their rightful place.

"I am calling for the once tribeless Gen Z of 25th June 2024; where are you? Please come out. There is a mission that needs your numbers. We must come out of these tribal groupings," Amisi pleaded.

The Peoples Renaissance Movement (PM) party leader warned that tribalised politics is not only selfish, but also friendly to the status quo. He added that if the push to liberate the country in 2027 fails, then it may never come to pass.

"Tribal kingpins have let down their supporters, and history is replete with such. Why don't people like listening to advice? If we fail this mission, we have let down our future generation forever," he warned.

Amisi said that his party was best placed to deliver Kenya from economic quagmire, tribalism, corruption, and public debt and preserve, protect, and uphold the rule of law and constitutionalism.

Meanwhile, the bid to unite Opposition leaders received a boost this week, with Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna meeting DCP Leader Rigathi Gachagua in Wamunyoro on Mashujaa Day.

Gachagua and his DCP entourage met with the Linda Mwananchi Movement team. Political whispers point to a joint DCP and Linda Mwananchi rally in Nyahururu.

Elsewhere, Jubilee Party Leader Fred Matiang'i and his counterparts Martha Karua (PLF) and Ndindi Nyoro (PPK) held joint rallies in Nakuru Town. They reiterated the push to have one candidate to face President William Ruto on the ballot in 2027.
