It also announced plans to accelerate learning activities to compensate for the time lost during the industrial action.
"A new teaching timetable will be issued to guide the resumption of academic activities. To make up for the lost time, teaching and learning activities will be accelerated to ensure effective coverage of the semester's academic content within the available time," the notice added.

Kibabii University urged students to familiarise themselves with the revised timetable and attend all scheduled learning activities as the institution worked to recover the lost academic time.
"All students are therefore advised to adhere strictly to the revised timetable and actively participate in all scheduled learning activities," the notice further read.
The university also reminded students to clear any outstanding fees and complete their semester registration ahead of the resumption of classes.
This comes a week after Kenyatta University distanced itself from an internal memo purporting to announce the resumption of classes amid the ongoing nationwide lecturers' strike.
In a clarification issued on Friday, October 23, the University's management flagged the memo as fake and asked students to disregard it.
"All Kenyatta University students are advised to disregard the internal memo circulating on social media regarding the resumption of classes on Monday, 26th October 2026.
"The document is fake and did not originate from the Office of the Registrar (Academic) or any official university authority," the statement read.
Kenyatta University told its students that they should verify any information on the institution's official channels.
