Speaking on Saturday, October 31, during the house-warming ceremony of Machakos Senator Agnes Kavindu, Kalonzo expressed disappointment with wiper politicians.

The former vice president contrasted the absence of wiper leaders at the event with the strong presence of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's team.

“Then Riggy G arrived with his team, all properly branded. You will never be given anything on a silver platter,” Kalonzo said.

Kalonzo urged Wiper leaders to move as a team ahead of the 2027 General Election. 

“Wake up and move as a team when you are doing that I am moving to the rest of the country,” he added. 

This comes after Kalonzo was heckled while he was giving his speech during the Linda Mwananchi event. 

The wiper leader found himself on the receiving end after he claimed that Sifuna was just a party leader and not yet the presidential candidate. 

The crowd began chanting Sifuna's name, forcing the Nairobi Senator to intervene and calm them.

"This is not a way to treat our guests. Just let us listen to them; we have been honoured by their presence, so let him finish," Sifuna said.

Following the incident, Treasury Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi urged Kalonzo to join the Broad-based Government

Mbadi claimed that the Linda Mwananchi leaders not only allowed Kalonzo to be disrespected but also did nothing about it because they are emotionally immature and have no emotional intelligence.

"Kalonzo, when you were elected, Sifuna was just five years old, yet now he is disrespecting you. Leave them and join us so that we can form government because I do not doubt that Ruto will be re-elected," he said.
