Nominated Senator Milicent Omanga has urged National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi to work with Deputy President William Ruto.
The DP, who has openly declared his 2022 presidential bid, is yet to announce his team, and the legislator feels the National Assembly speaker would help the DP achieve an all inclusive government.
Taking to social media on June 14, 2021, Omanga asked Muturi to, "look at the bigger picture" and join hands with the deputy president.
"NA speaker Speaker J.B. Muturi is a great man. I'd advise him to work closely with the DP for purposes of forming an all inclusive, development-oriented, caring & progressive government in 2022.

As they say, "a day in politics is equivalent to a year" the recent political unfoldings in the country at the moment portray slim chances of the two leaders joining forces.
Speaker Muturi was recently coronated as the Mount Kenya region spokesperson by a section of elders from the region at a shrine in Mukurwe wa Nyagathanga in Murang'a County.
The move was opposed by a number of politicians even those allied to President Uhuru Kenyatta, along with a section of elders from the region, who moved to cleanse the shrine.
