Deputy President William Ruto has hinted that he will vie for the presidency in the 2022 polls in a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party ticket after terming it the hustler's party.
Speaking in West Pokot on Saturday where he held a rally, the DP said they had destroyed the Jubilee party for tribal alliances.
"Sisi tuko rada. Tuko chonjo. Tuko na chama ya ma hustler," DP Ruto told a cheering crowd.
He added that the planned coalition between Jubilee and ODM was a plot to deny him the leadership of the former.
This was the first time DP Ruto was publicly associating himself with UDA.

This comes barely days after Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju disclosed that the Jubilee Party and ODM would field a joint presidential candidate for the 2022 polls.
Tuju stated the two parties are keen to formalize their handshake relationship in a coalition deal.
"If we reach an agreement in terms of coming up with alliance, which is on the table, then we should have one presidential candidate," Tuju said on Friday.
