Kiambu Woman Representative Gathoni wa Muchomba has sensationally claimed that she was trailed by the police on Thursday as she headed for a meeting at Deputy President William Ruto’s Karen residence.

Without providing much details, Wa Muchomba noted that the police chased her team, but they were able to make it to the DP’s residence.

She further noted that no amount of intimidation will stop her from meeting and working with the DP and his Hustler Nation team.

“Wezi wanasumbua watu huku na mangeta, nao polisi wako busy chasing me and my women! Trailing us tusiende Karen. Tulienda na tukarudi, na tutaenda tena,” she posted on Facebook.

During the Thursday meeting, Women leaders allied to the DP welcomed Gathoni wa Muchomba to the Hustler Nation following her recent defection.

Speaking during the event, Kandara MP Alice Wahome urged Wamuchomba to be ready for prosecution, adding that it is highly likely that she’ll start facing court cases.

“The politically-instigated cases will come up against you, but stay firm in your political stand,” Wahome told Wamuchomba.

On her part, Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika accused the Directorate of Criminal Investigations of being used to settle political scores.

“You cannot be coming up with imaginary cases against those allied to Dr Ruto. The time of mischief is running out,” she said.
