Law Society of Kenya President Nelson Havi on Monday clashed with police officers at the body's Gitanga Road headquarters.
In a standoff that was captured on camera, Havi questions two armed police officers whom he alleges have been permanently stationed at the LSK offices.
In the clip, Havi asks the male police officer his name. The cop ignores.

"There are many more pressing matters of criminal nature where the National Police Service should focus on. Internal management of affairs of the Law Society of Kenya does not require police supervision. LSK is not a parastatal," Havi captioned the video which he posted on social media.
The cops had allegedly received a distress call but declined to identify the caller despite pressure from Mr. Havi.
"Talk to the OCS, we are here on assignment," the female police officer told Mr. Havi when questioned on their mission at the LSK offices.
The LSK President accused the police officers of disrupting activities at the body's offices claiming they locked up a boardroom and prevented LSK members from holding a meeting.
The two police officers resisted attempts by the LSK boss to usher them out of the offices.
"I am not afraid of guns," Havi is heard in the clip telling the police officers as he referred to an earlier incident when he was arrested by the police at his office.
Mr Havi reminded the police officers that the LSK offices were private property as he repeatedly asked them to leave.
The Law Society of Kenya has been experiencing leadership wrangles since 2020 when Havi kicked out the body's former CEO Mercy Wambua from office on allegations of gross misconduct.
She was soon reinstated to her position by the LSK council.
In late June 2021, the LSK voted to send her on compulsory leave.
On July 12th, Ms Wambua reported Havi to the police for allegedly assaulting him.
On Friday, Nelson Havi announced that Josephat Mutunga Mutisya would replace Mercy Wambua as the LSK CEO.
