Odeny believes he has what it takes to compete against other presidential aspirants in 2022 and emerge victorious.
He joins numerous candidates in the race for State House including; Deputy President William Ruto, Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua, former UNCTAD boss Mukhisa Kituyi and former paramilitary officer and Kiambu Bishop Zablon Karanja Mbugua.
Odeny whether vying for the goal of being president or getting something out of it, perhaps a state job, is following in the footsteps of former presidential aspirant Mwalimu Abduba Dida.
Dida, who taught English Literature and Religion at Lenana School and Daadab Secondary School, contested the 2013 presidential elections and garnered 52,848 votes which represented 0.43 percent of the popular vote.
Well, he did not become president, but he earned himself a state job.
