Nairobi Woman Rep Esther Passaris has praised members of the Luo community for being good at expressing genuine love.
Speaking on Wednesday while receiving defectors alongside ODM Party leader Raila Odinga, Passaris noted that she has received lots of love from the ODM family ever since she joined the party.
She noted that while campaigning in 2017, she was treated well and supported by the ODM family whose leadership to a large extent is comprised of members of the Luo community.
It is at this point that she hailed members of the Luo community for being good at showing genuine love, adding that most people from the Mt Keya region always head to Nyanza in pursuit of true love.
“When you come as the Mountain to ODM, love the family of ODM. Wajaluo wanajua kulove, ata Wakikuyu wengi wakitaka mahaba wanajua pahali pa kuenda. Mkikuja ODM mjue you will get the genuine love,” she said.

She urged the defectors to take it upon themselves to popularize ODM in the grassroots and register new members in the ongoing registration drive.
According to Passaris, her party leader is best option to take from President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022, adding that Raila is keen on uniting the country and ensuring all the regions grow and develop consistently.
On matters BBI, Passaris argued that the Bill has great proposals for the country, noting that it is important for it to be revisited in future.
