Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has affirmed his party’s commitment to working with the youth, noting that in the 2022 general election, Chama Cha Kazi (CCK) will hand MCA nomination certificate to young people only.
In a statement on his social media pages, Kuria urged those above 45 years to consider using other parties, as CCK will only hand its MCA nomination papers to persons aged 45 and below.
“Bad news if you are over 45 years and seeking to vie for MCA position. Chama Cha Kazi will not nominate anyone above 45 years to vie for MCA position. Let's walk the talk,” he said.
Kuria’s commitment to work with the youth comes a day after ODM Leader promised to hand four Cabinet positions to the youth should he ascend to power in 2022.

Odinga also assured the youth that, in his government, young people will be appointed as ambassadors and high commissioners to foreign states. This he says would improve the reputation of the country.
Odinga told the youth that he has previously worked with young people and their coordination with his government will be smooth.
He revealed that during his term as Prime Minister he had a round table with the youth in which he listened to and addressed their issues.
"Jane should have told you here that when I was Prime Minister, I had a round table with the business community, and I also had a round table with the youth," Odinga stated.
