Lawyer and Professor Hassan Nandwa, who had been kidnapped ten days ago on October 28, was found at a dumpsite alive and in a state of despair.
According to the family, he was dropped off by unidentified personnel at 1:00 am on Monday, November 8 at Mwingi, Kitui County.
He then managed to walk from where his captivators dumped him to the relative's home in Mwingi.
The family traveled to Mwingi to reconnect with him but could not get information concerning his kidnapping.
"He is not yet talking to anyone about his plight," his son Elmiqdad Hassan said.
However, the current whereabouts of ex-terror convict Elgiva Bwire who was his client remains unknown.
"All this should not have happened in the first place. We have not heard anything about his client. My father is visibly shaken and we suspect he was threatened against speaking about his unlawful detention," his son added.
It is reported that Nandwa went missing when he reportedly visited the Anti-Terrorism Police Unit offices in Nairobi to visit his client, who had completed his ten-year jail term at Kamiti Maximum Prison.
Bwire was previously convicted of a life sentence in 2011 and had his term reduced to ten years following a Court of Appeal ruling, something that most disagreed with.
