ANC Leader Musalia Mudavadi has admitted that he has been feeling unwell in the last couple of days.
This comes days after the OKA principal rubbished allegations that he had been sick, part of the reason why he was away from the political scene for over a week.
Addressing the media on Sunday, November 14, 2021, Mudavadi revealed that he had been away from political activities due to health issues.
He noted that his OKA principals have been campaigning across the country, but he is unable to join them due to his health.

“I am human and so, I have gone through some medical stress, which I am recovering from, but I’m aware they are having the rallies,” Mudavadi stated.
He apologised to his supporters and co-principals for his absence from the campaign trail, assuring them that he will be back soon.
The presidential aspirant further revealed that he will be unavailable for the coming week.
“Up to this weekend, I cannot really engage in public rallies. From next week onwards, however, I will be back on course,” he stated.
On November 9, the ANC leader refuted reports claiming that he is unwell, noting that he is fine, adding that there’s no need for worry among his fans.
Speaking to Nation, Mudavadi noted that he has been away from the public scene but will make a comeback soon.
“Niko salama kabisa. Watu wasiwe na wasiwasi. Niko imara kabisa (I’m very fine. Let people not be anxious. I’m very strong). In a few days’ time you will see me. There is no problem. I’m strong,” he told the local daily.
The last time Mudavadi made a public appearance was on October 31, 2021 when he addressed a rally in Thika in the company of other One Kenya Alliance (OKA) leaders.
Following his absence, there has been speculation that the former Vice President was unwell, with some sources claiming that the campaign had taken a toll on his body.
