Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has weighed in on reports that he is heading towards the ODM leader Raila Odinga's camp.
In a statement on his Facebook page on Friday, November 26, Kuria appeared to suggest that the news was not true, though indirectly.
The reaction comes after a media report indicated that Kieni MP Kanini Kega hinted that the Gatundu South MP is on his way to Raila's camp after he wrote "MK loves our rùrìrì (community) so much that even in his hospital bed he's still concerned about our future" on Facebook.

In response to the media report, Kuria said: "I would respond to Kanini Kega but am bound by the Mcnaughton rule not to do so. He enjoys protection therein".
Kanini visited Kuria on Wednesday, November 25, in the hospital where he wished him a quick recovery and pledged to pass his message to Raila claiming that the Gatundu MP regretted missing the ODM leaders event in Nyeri.
Raila is hosting his Azimio La Umoja Conference this Friday, November 26, in Nyeri after which he is expected to announce his Presidential bid on December 9.
"We had a lengthy chat about his situation and the tremendous improvement he has gone through since his admission here. Ugua pole my brother. I know you will miss Azimio lakini nitapeleka salamu ulizonituma nazo kwa the 5th," Kanini Kega wrote on Facebook.
Kuria, who is nursing third-degree burns he got on his two feet when warming himself on the Sh250,000 mat he bought, has been in hospital for months.
The injuries sustained have kept him off from politics to allow for his recovery.
The MP, who was an ardent supporter of Deputy President William Ruto, appears to have gone slow on the DP to the extent that he recently predicted the ODM leader winning the Presidency.
Kuria and DP Ruto fell out after the DP made it clear that all those willing to work with him should fold their parties and join UDA, a directive Kuria dismissed.
Kuria is the party leader for Cha Cha Kazi.
