Meru Senator has alleged that there is an imminent break up within the One Kenya Alliance (OKA).

Speaking on Citizen TV on Monday, November 29, 2021, the Meru legislator further claimed that one of the coalition's principals is a spy.

The OKA alliance brings together ANC Leader Musalia Mudavadi, KANU's Gideon Moi, Wiper's Kalonzo Musyoka, and FORD Kenya's Moses Wetangula.

“I can tell you, without a doubt, that some of the OKA principals are spies.

“There are two spies within that group who report to different places, but in a matter of time, we will know. They will not be together, that I can tell you," Linturi said.

The lawmaker took a swipe at the political outfit, stating that they are unable to amass substantial votes on their own.

“Let us be serious, politics is about numbers. What numbers is OKA bringing, without casting doubt on the leadership and its credibility?” he posed.

Linturi, however, failed to reveal the exact names of the OKA principals he alleged are spies for other political camps.

“We want to wish them well, let them continue… Just let what I say come into fruition probably after some few weeks," he added.

The OKA alliance has continued with their popularisation campaigns across the country as they look to solidify their presidential bid.

Last week, the OKA principals met with leaders from the Mount Kenya Unity Forum led by NARC leader Martha Karua in a bid to forge a working relationship.

The OKA principals have been vocal that they are willing to work with any political leader with a similar vision.

Though they have each been elected by their respective parties as the preferred presidential candidates, they are yet to announce the coalition's flag bearer.

In a previous press conference, Mudavadi announced that OKA will soon announce its presidential candidate.
