Activist Boniface Mwangi has expressed his disappointment in the manner in which the DCI is handling his case.
The Activist claimed that the DCI is collaborating with powerful criminal elements by servicing them with information regarding their victims who seek justice through them.
Citing his case, Mwangi says he presented a piece of confidential information regarding his case to the DCI to help with the investigations only to be called by associates of a person behind his woes and be told of his revelations.
"This week l learnt how informants, witnesses and victims against powerful people get murdered. I walked into @DCI_Kenya HQ and handed over confidential information to help in their investigations and within hours l received a phone call from the suspect's people," he said.

The Activist says his quest for justice has proved elusive as detectives handling his matter have only been delegating it to their immediate juniors adding that his suspects are well connected to the DCI.
According to him, his case has not made any progress weeks after he reported to the DCI.
He did not, however, the specificity of the case and the people the DCI are protecting or are behind his woes.
"When we met with @DCI_Kenya director Kinoti over a month ago, he handed over the investigations to the Director of Operations Gicheru, who handed me over to Bett, who handed me over to Kioko who handed me over to Omondi. Still, no action, but the suspects have an informer(s) at DCI," he tweeted.
Mwangi has now directed the DCI to act on his case before the end of the week lest he exposes the rot at the DCI.
The photojournalist says he has documented evidence to incriminate the DCI unit if his matter is not addressed as soon as possible.
"My lawyers @MarthaKarua, Mbugua Mureithi and @DefendersKE have copies of all the information and evidence shared with @DCI_Kenya. Names, phone numbers, and even images. If DCI doesn't act by end of this week, we shall share the evidence to show how they are protecting murderers," he warned.
Though the Activist did not mention details of his case, a month ago, he complained about Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua who he accused of bombing his house that is under construction in Athi River.
Mwangi blamed the Governor for the heinous act and said he will pursue justice.
Time will tell whether it is the case pitting the Governor that stalled.
