His condolences message went viral after a netizen privy to the relationship between the Governor and Alan exposed how the county boss allegedly subjected the deceased to pain.
According to Tim Njiru, the Governor tormented the late by demanding some of his properties.
Njiru told off the Governor saying he is being hypocritical given that he contributed to his woes.
"I'm sorry Alfred, but in my last moments and conversations with Mr Donovan, you didn't feature as a very good man.
"Alan told me you wanted his land where the African Heritage House sits and its surroundings. You made his life a living hell. Dont get me started," Njiru tweeted.
The tweet by Njiru went viral on social media sparking reactions among Kenyans.
Donovan came to Kenya more than 50 years ago and has since played a crucial role in the country and continent by dedicating his life to collecting art and preserving the African heritage.
