Obo told Citizen Digital that the boat captain lost control of the voyage upon reaching the narrow Mkanda channel hitting the rock leading to three chiefs falling into the Indian Ocean.

Reports indicate the administrators lost mobile devices, documents, cameras, and their equipment after plunging into the sea.

“We are all fine, just a few minor injuries but we have lost a lot of valuable gadgets and others which have been destroyed by the water,” Obo disclosed.

They have been rushed to several hospitals around Lamu County and are recuperating well.
