The incident comes at a time when suicide cases in the country are on the rise.
According to data released by DCI, at least 500 people committed suicide in March and June of 2021 in separate incidences.
These cases raise alarm in the country with Kenyans being urged to seek alternative dispute resolution mechanisms before taking away their lives.
The police service has also been greatly affected by suicide cases given that several police officers have resorted to suicide and killing others as a result of depression.
President Uhuru Kenyatta recently urged the officers to consult when depressed to avoid the increasing cases even as he stated that his government is committed to solving their needs.
