Controversial political commentator Mutahi Ngunyi has attacked UDA party chairman Johnstone Muthama after he issued two conflicting statements on Monday on the status of the coalition deal between his party, ANC, and Ford Kenya parties.
The former Machakos senator on Monday said there is no coalition agreement between UDA, ANC and Ford Kenya saying they are working as friends.
Later in the evening, he released a statement saying the coalition deal is in the works and faulted the media for misquoting him.
It is in that backdrop that Ngunyi fired salvos at the former senator.
The commentator questioned the role of Muthama in the UDA party and raised claims on his goal in the Wheelbarrow party.

"MAYBE Chairman Muthama is a madoadoa AGENT of the state, like SENATOR Linturi. Point: Destroy UDA from WITHIN. MAYBE Muthama has no CLUE who the CHAIRMAN of UDA is. Who TOLD him there is NO coalition agreement with Mudavadi? UDA has its owners. Muthama is JUST a Flowergirl chairman," Ngunyi said.
The ANC and Ford Kenya parties on January 23, expressed willingness to work with Deputy President William Ruto even as they dismissed the possibility of working with ODM leader Raila Odinga.
The two had been rumoured to be gravitating towards Raila's camp, a move Mudavadi said contributed to his exit from OKA to join the DP.
