Makueni Governor, Kivutha Kibwana has sent a message to the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) leaders led by Kalonzo Musyoka asking them to join the Azimio la Umoja Movement.
In his message on Sunday, Kibwana said he was inviting OKA to the Raila Odinga-led movement as the Chairperson of the South Eastern Economic Bloc (SEKEB).
The governor insisted that the grand plan for Azimio la Umoja is to genuinely unite the country.
He added that the plan is to save and prosper Kenya and not to share positions as their opponents claim.
Kibwana called on them to respect those who joined Azimio la Umoja before them.
"As Chairperson of the South Eastern Economic Bloc (SEKEB), and my two governor colleagues & the Ukambani people, we welcome OKA into AZIMIO. The grand vision is genuine unity to save and prosper Kenya, not to share positions. Let the new entrants honour the Early AZIMIO Birds," the governor said.
Kibwana has been calling on Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and his One Kenya Alliance counterparts to join Raila Odinga.
He has intensified his calls to have Musyoka team up with Raila Odinga. A few days ago, Kibwana also cautioned that if he chose to go all the way to the ballot, the Kamba community will not follow him.
