Gilgil MP Martha Wangari has ditched president President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee party for his deputy William Ruto's UDA.
The MP was received by DP Ruto to the Hustler Nation camp.
Wangari is seeking her second term in office after being elected for the first term in 2017 on a Jubilee party ticket.
The MP took to social media to pen a message of gratitude to DP Ruto for welcoming her to his camp.

She endorsed the DP's bottom-up economic model even as she expressed commitment to working with the second in command ahead of the August 9, elections.
"I was elected in 2017 through a Jubilee ticket. I have diligently served my people and avoided politics for the last 4 years. God has been good to me. It's 2022, time to seek to renew the mandate.
"I shall do seek to fly the UDA party ticket in Gilgil. So help me God. Thanks, H.E The Deputy President for receiving and welcoming me. Karibu Gilgil, Munanda kesho. Form ni Hustler Nation. Mpango ni Bottom Up," she said.
The MP becomes the latest to join the camp. She was preceded by Molo MP Kuria Kimani who was welcomed to the cam on Sunday.
Another MP who later joined the camp is Starehe MP Charles Njagua, popularly known as Jaguar.
