Gatundu MP Moses Kuria has arrived in the country.

The MP arrived on Saturday morning and was treated to a warm welcome by his supporters who had pitched a tent at JKIA.

His arrival precedes a major homecoming rally to be held at Thika Stadium later in the day.

The MP has been out of the country for months after he left for Dubai where he has been receiving treatment for third-degree burns he sustained on his feet.

He organized the thanksgiving rally to thank Kenyans for the support they extended to him during his ailing period.

Several artists have been lined up to perform at the function

The MP is said to have invited the ODM leader Raila Odinga and deputy president William Ruto, among others, to the function.

The DP's attendance is in doubt given that his itinerary shows he has a busy schedule in Embu, Tharaka Nithi, and Meru counties.

Raila on the other hand is expected to kick off his Coastal tour this Saturday.

Moses Kuria on Wednesday made it clear that he is yet to join any of the major political formations in the country; either Azimio or Kenya Kwanza.

Azimio La Umoja movement is under the leadership of ODM leader Raila while Ruto is the leader of Kenya Kwanza.
